The Bloom Program is a community pharmacy initiative designed to increase and improve mental health and addictions care for Nova Scotians.
Who is eligible to participate?
Anyone with a Nova Scotia Health Card who has:
- One or more mental health or addiction diagnoses
AND - A medication problem that they would like to work on with their pharmacist
To enroll, please contact a Bloom Pharmacy near you.
What are the benefits?
- No cost to patients.

- One-on-one care and patient advocacy from your pharmacist.
- Access to and information about community mental health and addiction resources.
- Assistance in navigating the mental health and addictions system in Nova Scotia.
