The IWK Mental Health and Addictions Program provides specialized care throughout the province for children and youth up until their 19th birthday within a patient and family centered context. The Mental Health & Addictions Program provides services to residents of Halifax Regional Municipality in schools and community clinics, and province wide inpatient service for the most acutely ill children and youth. Services are supported through shared care and in consultation with family practice physicians and community pediatricians.
