The Dynamic (attachment-focused) Relational Therapy Program (DaRT) is a part-time six week intensive group psychotherapy program. It is a treatment program that is designed to support adults who have experienced complex emotional trauma resulting in unhealthy relationship patterns and coping behaviors.

The program helps participants to gain knowledge and skills to improve self-awareness, manage, and express their emotions, set goals, build healthy relationships, and cope with/prevent future mental health problems. The DaRT program offers two treatment streams depending on the needs and life circumstances of the participant. For most individuals they will benefit from the virtual version of the program which is offered using the Zoom for Healthcare platform. Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, participants may benefit from a more intensive treatment option and as such the DaRT program also offers an in person group treatment program option.

The program staff is made up of a group of health care professionals including psychiatry, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, and nursing. The staff will work with you and your referring doctor or clinician, to discuss which treatment option will best fit your needs.
