Mood Disorders Clinic
The Mood Disorders (MD) Program provides specialty consultations for individuals with severe mood disorders such as possible bipolar disorder. This is a specialized service that provides diagnosis and treatment of severe mood disorders.
Mood disorders are a group of mental illnesses that affect how you feel and think about yourself, other people, and life in general. Two specific types of mood disorders we often see in the clinic are bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder.
Our services
The MD Program is a specialized outpatient program. A team of clinicians with expertise in assessing and treating Mood Disorders helps patients improve their quality of life. The MD Program team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologist, Registered Nurses, Social Worker, Researchers, and administrative staff.

What the program offers:
- Consultation
- Comprehensive Mental Health Assessments
- Evidence-based treatments including specialized individual therapy, group therapy, and pharmacotherapy (medication)
