Nova Scotia Early Psychosis Program (NSEPP) | Nova Scotia Mental Health and Addictions

The Nova Scotia Early Psychosis Program (NSEPP) is a specialized, community focused, mental health program for young people (and their families) between the ages of 12 to 35 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

Individuals with that meet the following criteria may be referred:

Exhibiting symptoms of, or has been diagnosed with, a first episode of psychosis
Between the ages of 12 to 35
Has been treated for less than six months with an antipsychotic

Within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM): Referrals can be made by anyone including: self-referrals, family members, friends, teachers, counsellors, family physicians and health care professionals. To make a referral, call 902-473-2976.

Outside of HRM A referral from your health care provider is needed. We provide clinical consultation for residents of the Maritime Provinces who live outside HRM.
