Health Canada announces Wellness Together Canada has dissolved as of April 3, 2024
Wellness Together Canada launched in April, 2020 as a COVID-19 pandemic response. The program was funded by the Government of Canada to fill an urgent and acute need for mental health and substance use health support while provinces and territories mobilized to respond to the pandemic. It has since provided more than four million people with free, virtual mental health and substance use health resources.
In this post-pandemic context, the Government of Canada is transitioning away from WTC. As of today, April 3, services offered through WTC and the PocketWell app will no longer be available.
What does this mean?
-
After April 3, 2024: Services offered through Wellness Together Canada and the PocketWell app will no longer be available.
-
The website, including your logins and access to Welltrack Boost, will conclude on April 3. We understand that this transition may be an unwelcome interruption to your use of the platform. But your journey with Welltrack Boost does not have to end here, because Health Canada made it FREE to continue through November.
